According to the Daily Mail, a family in Perth was shocked to find a thief trying to steal the artificial lawn laid in front of the house, causing them to pay a large cost for repairs.
Early Saturday morning, in the (Munster) district of Perth Minster, the wife of Ritter (Rhett) woke up and noticed a mess in front of the artificial lawn in front of her home.
At first, Ritter thought it was a random act of sabotage, but he looked closely and found that much of the damage to the lawn was expected.

Ritter says the thieves cut the lawn into parts with Stanley`s knife. He posted photos on Facebook, a social networking platform.
Photos show that the lawn was cut into three parts, half of which were folded.
Regardless of whether the thieves ended up calming down or finding that artificial grass was too heavy to give up the theft, it has already cost them a lot to repair, Ritter said.

Ritter believes the theft should have occurred between midnight and early morning. When his wife got up early Saturday morning to change her children`s diapers, she noticed the chaos outside the window.
