The lowest-priced property on the Sydney property market in 2016 was located in Vilmot (Willmot), about 50 kilometers from CBD, and sold for A $ three hundred and fifty thousand.
According to Domain, the median real estate prices in Sydney are now breaking the million Australian dollar mark. First-time buyers struggle to search for home-buying opportunities but see little hope. In 2016, the Sydney region`s lowest-priced home, (Hartog Avenue) 16, closed for A $ three hundred and fifty thousand in November, the lowest-selling property in the Sydney region, at 16 Wermot Hartog Boulevard. With Tasmanian capital Hubart (Hobart) median house price three hundred and eighty two thousand nine hundred and ninety nine Australian dollars. Although the property was badly equipped with no toilets, bathrooms, walls and plaster, it was sold in just three days.
Vilmot is about 50 kilometers from Sydney`s CBD, and the median regional price is A $ four hundred and fifty one thousand, with a median rent of A $330 a week, according to Domain.
Across the street from 16 Hartog Boulevard, 7 Hartog Avenue sold A $ four hundred thousand last July.
