A couple in Cairns, Queensland, were horrified to find that the ceiling was bent and cracked, just because the roof was perched with not one but two huge estrous pythons.

On Friday, Hagen (Matt Hagan), chief snake catcher at (Cairns Snake Catcher), a Keynesian snake catcher in Queensland, was called to a family in Wight Rock (White Rock) to pull out a pair of pythons from the roof, the Messenger Post reported.

``The roof is very rare to live with such a large python, `` Hagen said.

Purple python breeding season usually lasts from July to late September, so they will become very noisy neighbors in the next few months.

"during this breeding season, if your roof is lucky enough to stage a purplish python party, when males fight with each other to attract females, the scene becomes very wild," Hagen said. "sometimes these fights smell bad, float into the room and even cause structural damage to real estate, such as stains or cracks in the ceiling."
