The epidemic in Spain has risen, affecting 200,000 people as a result of the blockade of Segria in Catalonia

Spain's north-eastern Catalonia Autonomous Region (Catalonia) today blocked about 200,000 residents of the Segria (del Segria) region, the local 2019 coronary virus disease (COVID-19) increased.

 

By this time the summer holiday in Spain had begun and visitors from 12 non-EU countries had been re-entered. Before that, Spain opened entry on June 21 for tourists from the European Union's Schengen countries and Britain.

Tola (Quim Torra), chairman of the government of the Autonomous Region of Catalonia, told journalist ,「 that we had decided to block the Segria (del Segria) district because the data confirmed a surge in new cases in the area "; that no one was allowed to enter or leave the area.

The Katelonia Health minister, Vurgis (Alba Verges), said parties of more than 10 people were prohibited and visits to live a retired life homes were prohibited.
