Four Australian high school girls were sent to the hospital with overdose of drugs in the school.

On Friday, four Australian high school girls were rushed to hospital for drug overdose on campus.

On Friday, Queensland Ambulance Center (Queensland Ambulance) emergency workers arrived three times at Gold Coast`s South Port State High School (Southport State High School), to pick up four schoolgirls who allegedly overtook prescription drugs, according to Channel 7.

It is unclear whether the four girls are taking drugs together or at different times today.

Queensland Ambulance Center received its first call for help at 08:30 this morning when a schoolgirl was ill.

At 12:15, paramedics returned to Nangang State High School, where two schoolgirls were unwell.

At 01:30, the fourth female student reported discomfort.

All four female students were sent to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment at (Gold Coast University) and are in stable condition. One of the students has been allowed to leave the hospital.

Queensland Education Department (Queensland Department of Education) has issued a statement confirming the incident. The police will intervene in the investigation.
