'Australia is suffering a massive cyber attack! Foreign government are behind the scenes

The Australian Prime Minister, Morrison (Scott Morrison), said Australian organizations, including government and businesses, sophisticated foreign "state" hackers.

 

He said :" The cyber attack was directed at organizations from all walks of life in Australia, including operators at all levels government 、 industry, political organizations, education, health, basic service providers and other critical infrastructure. "

"Because of the size and nature of the target and the means used, we know that the attacker is a mature, State-supported network participant. "

Mr. Morrison said the Australian Cyber Security Center has been "working actively with target organizations to ensure that they have appropriate technical mitigation measures and that they have appropriate defensive measures ".

opposition party leader albanese (Anthony Albanese) said government had invited labour to join the security circulate a notice.

So far, Mr. Morrison says, hackers don`t appear to be "massive" destroying people`s personal information, but call the attack "malicious ".

Morrison declined to say which country had carried out the cyber attack, but said several countries were capable of carrying out such complex activities.

The Australian Signal Bureau (Australian Signals Directorate) said it was aware of ongoing attacks on Australian government and businesses.

"Hackers take advantage of many initial access vectors. "

Signals said that when users open mail, links to fake websites steal information from users, and they also use links to malicious files and mail tracking services.

The Australian Cyber Security Center is working with groups that have been attacked.

Australian beverage giant Lion`s recent cyber attacks have nothing to do with this morning`s malicious activities, mr morrison said.
