 19 Apr 2018

After the United States, Australia also said it will phase out Huawei, ZTE mobile phone.

As warnings continue, Australian government agencies have decided to phase out Huawei and ZTE phones in mainland China, and will not use any Huawei and ZTE products in the future, according to Business Insider.

The Australian Defense Ministry has revealed that it will no longer use Huawei phones and ZTE phones. In addition, the Australian Defense Department also said that the Ministry of Defense has a large number of aging ZTE phones, used for the transmission of unclassified voice and text.

According to reports, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull (Malcolm Turnbull) during his recent visit to the United States, (National Security Agency) and (Department Of Homeland Security), the head of the Department of Homeland Security, were listening to concerns about Huawei`s desire to provide equipment for Australia`s new telephone network.

"We are deeply concerned that some foreign government companies or entities do not share our values," said (FBI) Director Chris (Chris Wray) of the FBI. If they are allowed to gain power and status in our telecommunications network, it is an indirect right to maliciously modify or steal information. "

ZTE is in talks with Google executives about using the Android operating system on mobile devices. If the talks fail, ZTE will be hit hard.

In fact, as early as 2012, because of cyber security issues, Australia banned Huawei from bidding for (NBN), a national broadband network, on the recommendation of the Australian National Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO).
