According to Radio 7, a kangaroo is struggling at a distance of about 1 kilometer off the coast of Western Australia. Fortunately, a group of fishermen passed by and found it and rescued it.

A group of fishermen from Western Australia are reported to have found a kangaroo struggling at a distance of about 800m from (Point Moore Lighthouse), the Cape (Geraldton) lighthouse in Geralton.

Fishermen moved quickly to save the kangaroo, one of whom ventured into the sea, tied the rope to the kangaroo and pulled it onto the boat.

Wildlife rescuer Jones (Michelle Jones) came to rescue the kangaroo after receiving a report. She joined the local veterinarian on the shore with the boat that rescued the kangaroo.

At the time, the kangaroo was on the brink of death, Jones said on fb.

The captain of the fishing boat said the kangaroo had to undergo cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and helped it drain about a litre of water.

Jones also praised the fishermen who saved the kangaroo, saying it was one of the craziest rescue operations she has ever been involved in.

It is reported that the rescued kangaroo was named "Offshore". After replenishing the water, it was sent to a rescue site and is recovering well.
