Located in the northwest of Tasmania, (Cradle Mountain) is one of Tasmania's most famous attractions and part of Tasmanian World Heritage region (Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area). It takes five hours from Hobart, the capital of Tabart, to Cradle Hill, so we recommend two and a half hours from Lanceston so that we can get to Cradle Hill.
No matter what season should be prepared for the cradle mountain area cold and rainy, spring cradle mountain is really cold, but the weather is fine. The snow on the mountain has not completely melted, the lake is sparkling under the mountain, the air is fresh enough to wash your lungs.
[化] matters need attention
1. Lullaby is indeed one of the most popular attractions in Tazhou. If you want to drive yourself to Pigeon Lake (Dove Lake), you'd better get to the ticket office earlier, or you might be forced to switch to a dedicated bus because of insufficient parking space.
2. To get to the visitor center you need to go through a restaurant, go ahead after buying tickets, and the boarding point of the dedicated car is also here. It is best to photograph the timetable of the special train before leaving, so as not to delay your trip.
3. If you take the Scenic dedicated car will stop at 4 points, Ranger Station, Snake Hill, Ronny Creek and Dove Lake, will need to get off according to your choice of foot line starting point.
4. There are also some tips on the guidebook (English) about not littering inside. Please read it for yourself and attach a link to download the guidebook.

Cradle mountain hiking
There are many hiking routes in Cradle Hill, ranging from 20 minutes to 7 days, of which (Overland Track), is a transcontinental hike / sway trek between (Cradle Mountain) and (Lake St. Clair National Park), Lake St. Clair National Park. 80 km (50 miles) in length, natural scenery, is listed as one of the world's top 10 hiking routes.
1. Pigeon Lake Ring Line (Dove Lake Circuit, 6 Km, 2 / 3 hours)
The most classic pigeon lake circle, 6 km, the starting and ending point are pigeon lake parking lot, the reference time is 2 to 3 hours, I walked for 3 hours.
The first half of the line is flat, and most of the time you can see the Cradle Mountain, a 15-minute walk to Glacier Rock, where it's a good point to take pictures. During the period, there are some paths to the lake to play with water, photo-taking, pigeon lake water is orange, very special.
The second half of the forest can be seen, streams, but there are some up and down the stairs, slightly need some physical support. If you just want to take a few tourist photos, take the 20-minute loop of Enchanted Walk, where the official best spot is recommended.
2. Ronnie Creek to Pigeon Lake Line (Ronny Creek to Dove Lake, 3 km, 1 hour)
People who like small animals can add this hiking route, take a special train to Ronny Creek to get off, along the grass along the road often see a koala (Wombat, commonly known as Wang Bat), as I drive by this area, Far away saw several bow-headed grass-eating koala, very cute, but Wang Ba is very scary, it is very difficult to get close to them.
For additional lines, see the following figure (image from www.parks.tas.gov.au)
* if you are a professional hiker or climber, if you want to conquer the Cradle Mountain, you can also climb to the top of the Cradle Mountain (1545 meters above sea level). Please prepare professional equipment and maps before climbing, the weather here is very changeable, rain and cold is very important, remember to accompany.
3. 7-day Overland Track Shake Walk (carefully chosen)
Overland Track is known as one of the top 10 classic trekking routes in the world. It needs to be reloaded throughout the journey. Everything but water needs to be brought with it. All rubbish needs to be taken away by itself and must not be left in the national park.
The Ronny Creek of Cradle Hill National Park is the starting point of the route, ending at St. Clair National Park, which runs from north to south, about 80 kilometers, and generally takes six to seven days to see glaciers and lakes, and tropical rainforests. Crossing the highest mountain in Talla, Mount Oza (Mt Ossa, 1617 m above sea level, crossing (Lake St Clair)., Lake St. Clai
You need to sign up for hiking, at least 7 kms. the maximum day is about 17km. more information can be found on the official website at http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/index.aspx?base=7771
The animals of the lullaby mountain
There are many cute animals in the Cradle Mountain. They are the most representative animals in Tasmania. In addition to the koala mentioned earlier, there are also the gerbil (Wallaby), the (Echidna), the weasel (quoll), and the Tasmanian Badger, (Tasmanian devil).
Picture of the koala from www.parks.tas.gov.au
Of course, there are totally unlovely animals here-snakes. On the day I went to Cradle Hill, the temperature was only 1: 10 degrees, and the snakes in the Cradle Hill had begun to move, and they were not afraid of cold or human beings.
Looking at the data, there are three species of snakes,: Tiger Snake (,), Lowland Copperhead (, low-ground copper heads) and White-lipped Snake (white-lipped snakes), both of which are deadly in the toxicity of tiger snakes and white-lipped snakes.
My advice.
1. Before entering the Cradle Hill, it was hard to swallow and expensive to buy some food in the tourist center.
2. Add oil before entering the mountain. The oil here is also more expensive than the outside.
3. Although some people sneer at the Cradle Mountain, I like it very much. It's probably the day I came here. It looks beautiful. If I have time, I'd like to stay here for a night.
