A Kmart supermarket at (Westfield) Mall in Sydney was forced to evacuate customers and close on Friday morning after an eagle appeared and caused chaos, the Daily Mail reported.

It is reported that on Friday morning, a Kmart supermarket welcomed an unexpected visitor-an eagle-at the Westfield Shopping Center in (Mt Druitt), western Sydney. As a result of the confusion, customers were evacuated and the Kmart supermarket was closed.

Social media users comment on the matter with a bit of humor.

"I don`t go shopping much," wrote one netizen. "are there any eagles involved now?"

Another netizen said: "Why do they want to close the door because of this little guy!" Just put a helmet on everyone! "

Witnesses said shop workers managed to control the bird of prey and trapped it under the carpet.

It is reported that Kmart supermarket reopened about an hour later.
