Sydney old driver attention, one month, M4 is going to start charging again

 15 May 2017

More than a month later, about July after the completion of the 16.8 billion WestConnex project, Sydney`s M4 highway will officially begin to close! Fee! La!

However, the final completion date has not yet been determined, and the timing may be affected by time and weather, or may be delayed until mid-August.

In the future, the cost of driving on the M4 varies from $1.77 to $4.56.

The governor of the new state, Beregikleen, said:

"We understand that people don`t want to spend money on toll roads, but it`s a pretty big project," he said.

"by then, people would rather spend a little money without being stuck in a car and spend extra gas because your car doesn`t move fast enough."

At present, the M4 Parramatta to Homebush about 7.5km section, is expanding into a two-way 4-lane.

In 2010, M4 cancelled the charge. The government explained that the rescheduling was intended to cover A $500 million in expansion costs.
