The 21-year-old woman, with the help of a relative, bought life accident insurance from five different insurers in the hope of claiming nearly A $6.4 million in damages.
Earlier this year, she falsely claimed that she had cut off her left hand while cutting branches.
When she was taken to the hospital, the officers said, her family deliberately left her broken hands in the same place instead of taking them to the hospital, just to ensure that she was permanently disabled.
But in the end, the doctor took his hand back in time.
Police said they had not received any compensation because the incident had been discovered in time.
Now the woman will face eight years in prison, for the money to get the end of the game.
