Dozens of crew members were rescued when a Japanese fishing boat caught fire off the coast of Western Australia

More than 20 crew members were rescued after a Japanese fishing boat caught fire off the coast of Perth in Western Australia on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning, (Australian Maritime Safety Authority), the Australian Maritime Safety Agency, received a report saying a fire broke out in a Japanese fishing boat, the eighth Mingshen Pill (Myojin Maru 8, Taiwan 7 reported. The crew has been evacuated from the fishing boat and transferred to the lifeboat.

The Australian Maritime Safety Agency then sent a rescue plane. However, the Japanese Coast Guard (Japan Coast Guard) later informed that another Japanese fishing boat, "FV 88 Shengfu Maru" (FV Seifuku Maru 88), had rescued the crew of the eighth Minsheng Maru fishing boat.
