According to the Sydney Morning Herald, a woman was arrested by police after three armed robberies at the same convenience store in (Queanbeyan), Kunbien, in three weeks. She appeared in (Cooma Local Court), Kumar District Court, on Thursday.
A 37-year-old woman is reported to have robbed a convenience store in (Donald Road), (Karabar) Donna Road, Karaba on three occasions. She threatened the clerk with a knife and stole cash and cigarettes.
Police said the three robberies occurred on December 15, December 30 and January 4, respectively.
At 01:15 on Wednesday, police raided the woman`s home in (Southbar Road), South Pakistan Road, and seized a knife, some cigarettes and clothes.
The woman was arrested and charged with three counts of robbery with offensive weapons.
