Sydney ranked tenth in the world for quality of life in cities

According to Domain, Mercer Consulting (Mercer) surveyed 450 countries around the world and ranked the quality of life in cities around the world. Among them, Sydney is Australia`s best quality of life city, ranked 10th out of 450 countries in the world, it is also Australia`s only city to enter the top 10.

It is understood that Mercer`s ranking indicators include political stability, crime rate, economic environment, personal and cultural freedom, health services, educational standards, transportation, residential and environmental aspects.

Austria`s capital, Vienna (Vienna), won the title for eight consecutive years, while Switzerland`s largest city, Zurich (Zurich), ranked second, Oakland (Auckland) ranked 3rd, Munich (Munich) fourth, Vancouver (Vancouver) fifth.

Melbourne ranked 16th. Also on the list are Perth (22nd), Adelaide (28th), Canberra (29th) and Brisbane (37th).

At the bottom of the rankings were (Baghdad), Iraq`s capital, while (Damascus), Syria`s capital, and (Port au Prince), Haiti`s capital, ranked in the bottom 10.

In addition, Sydney ranked 8th in infrastructure ranking, leading Perth (32nd), Melbourne (34th) and Brisbane (37th). The first place was Singapore, Frankfurt and Munich tied for 22nd.
