Gas leak in Xinzhou Paper Mill, 2 people lost their lives and 1 person was in critical condition

Two men have been killed and one man in critical condition in a mysterious gas leak at the paper mill in Albury, new state, on Thursday.

Emergency workers were called to the Norske Skog site in Ettamogah around 3 p.m. on Thursday as several workers struggled in the smog.

About 150 employees were evacuated, 15 of whom were taken to Albury Hospital.

A 28-year-old man died Thursday as two other men were being treated for serious injuries.

Unfortunately, another 36-year-old man also died Thursday night, a spokesman for the, Albury Wodonga Health Agency told the Herald Sun.

A 22-year-old man is still in danger.

The gas leak is believed to have been caused by some type of explosion in the factory. But the cause of explosion has not yet been confirmed.

A Norske Skog spokesman told the Herald Sun that it was working with investigators from the New State Department of work Security (SafeWork NSW).

"our first concern is our employees, their families and everyone affected by this tragedy." Milo Foster (Milo Foster), general manager of the paper mill. "We will provide support to those affected and work with the authorities to investigate what has happened."

The police are producing a report for the coroner.
