Basic application steps: preparation of materials > online / offline application > waiting for visa results
1, preparing material
- Valid passport
- Passport photo (2 offline processing and 1 online processing)
- Proof of funds (indicating the ability to cover the costs of travel in New Zealand, such as bank running water or deposit certificates for the last three months, approximately 1000AUD's certificate of funds needed to support travel within one month, accumulated in turn)
- Round trip ticket or itinerary planning (or sufficient financial proof of purchase of round trip ticket)
- If you apply offline, you need to fill out the INZ1188 interview application form and the INZ1027 supplementary application form truthfully.
- Other:
- For online applications, payment must be made with UnionPay, Visa, or Master Card
- Can only be applied as a single person, not with family members or as part of a tour visa
- Provision of documents and materials in the form of PDF
- Since February this year, the New Zealand Immigration Service has opened UnionPay card payment online visa application, fully support UnionPay debit card and credit card
2. Submission of application materials
If you apply online (online)
First of all, open the website of the New Zealand Immigration Service: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas
Then choose to apply for a visa, and select a travel visa
Then apply for the RealMe account number according to the prompt.
Sign in on RealMe and create a ImmigrationONLINE account. After entering your account, fill out the Chinese form truthfully.
Form can be filled out after landing.
It is important to note that although the form you see is in Chinese, it still needs to be completed in English.
If you submit an application offline
You need to go to Sydney for 9:00-16: 30 hours on weekdays, weekends and public holidays are closed. In order to avoid queuing, try to arrive before 9: 00 a. M. in the morning. See "Visa Center Information" below.
Waiting for visa results
The information on the official website of the immigration bureau shows that it takes about 25 working days to apply offline. On the other hand, it takes about 20 working days to apply for a travel visa online. Although it does not take such a long time, it is recommended to prepare early in order to avoid affecting the trip:)
E-visa does not require a sticker. Upon obtaining the visa, the applicant will be notified with information on the validity and terms of the visa.
