Makeup brand Lush Australia admits to withholding more than 5000 employees over an eight-year period.

According to the Daily Mail, makeup brand Lush Australia announced today that it will pay thousands of employees for a cumulative sum of A $2 million.

Granger (Peta Granger), head of Lush Australia, said the audit was still in progress, but none of the manufacturing and retail workers were known to have received the compensation they deserved since 2010.

Granger says underpaying is a result of incorrect reading of retail incentives.

Granger acknowledged the company`s mistake and apologized to his employees. Granger said: "We should pay more respect to employees, upgrade the pay system, and keep abreast of business development."
