Tan Desai announced the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the new crown

Director-General WHO Tham Desai announced at an online meeting of Member States on Thursday (July 9) an "independent and comprehensive assessment" of the new crown outbreak.

At the meeting, WHO Director-General Tan Desai said ," It is time for self-reflection ". He pointed out that the aim was to draw lessons from the past, to avoid a recurrence of the tragedy in the future, and also to strengthen (international) cooperation to save more lives.

Mr. Tantesse also said that the Commission was chaired by former New Zealand Prime Minister Clark (Helen Clark) and former Liberian President Johnson-Sirleaf (Ellen Johnson Sirleaf).

There won't eventually be a standard report of ash falling on the shelf, mr. tan said. "We are serious about this ," he said. "The specific arrangements for the investigation would also require a consultative vote by Member States. He called on WHO members to recommend experts to the commission of inquiry. The first report is expected in November.

Tantesse announced the news the day before the u.s. announced its formal withdrawal WHO. the u.s. president Trump criticized WHO colluding with china to cover up the outbreak of the new crown. Trump believe that WHO should be jointly and severally liable for the global spread of the epidemic.
