A 23-year-old man in Sydney drowned Tuesday afternoon playing with a friend in the (Georges River) River, the Daily Telegraph reported.

A man in (Como), southern Sydney, did not surface after jumping off a railway bridge at 01:30 on Tuesday, after police received reports of a helicopter search. At 4 pm, police found a body near the scene of the incident. Police Superintendent Worthington revealed that (Steve Worthington) needs to submit forensic confirmation to confirm the identity of the deceased.

Worthington warned people to be safe when playing around the water in the summer. Worthington revealed that the tragedy was suspected of several friends playing by the river, diving and frolicking. The victim was not in a proper position when he entered the water and did not surface again.

Worthington said people need to remain in awe of the river, but this is not the time to blame anyone, and the families of the deceased need support to survive this difficult time.

It is said that the incident near the railway bridge is a popular swimming venue. Video site Tubing has many teenagers jump from the railway bridge into the George River short film.
