Law enforcement officers find a drug-making laboratory hidden in a house in (Beverly Hills), Beverly Hills, Sydney.

On Tuesday, Australian federal police and new state police launched a joint operation to carry out regular searches of homes in southwestern Sydney. Investigators then found clues inside a home in (Lakemba), Lakamba, and found a home in Beverly Hills, where they found a drug lab.

Two Chinese, aged 51 and 56, were arrested. The couple were charged with manufacturing and producing illicit drugs.

The police found drug.

Police say the laboratory is mainly used for methamphetamine extraction.

Law enforcement officers searched 15 to 17 kilograms of substances and were tested positive for methamphetamine. There is also an estimated 150 liters of liquid methamphetamine.

Investigators will further test the substances to determine their exact weight and purity.

The two arrested men were reported to appear in court for the first time on July 5, before attending the trial again on Aug. 29 at the Baohuo District Court, (Burwood Local Court).

Webster (Mark Webster), acting head of the Australian Federal Police`s fight against organized crime, said the operation could be found as a result of good co-operation between investigators and intelligence analysts from different law enforcement agencies. The seizure of illegal drug is of great significance, causing a certain blow to the criminal gang.

After two days of search, police also found about 150 litres of liquid methamphetamine

Peifer (Damien Beaufils), head of the new state police`s organized crime unit, said criminals are often driven by interests. While local and international law enforcement agencies have successfully cracked down on these criminal networks and behaviour, significant community assistance is needed to break the cycle of drug addiction and ultimately reduce demand for drug.
