Australian Chinese tycoons are on the hook again! Accused of defaulting on millions of salaries, being sued by employees in court!

China`s mining giant Zou Sha (Sally Zou, has been sued by a former employee who claimed that she owed more than A $1 million in wages.

According to the Daily Mail, Lee Rossetti sued Zousha, the operator of the AusGold Mining Group, in a federal court, saying she was fired after just two years of five-year contract. But Zousha denied that Rossetti had been employed by the company and worked as a consultant at AusGold.

According to court documents, Rossetti said he had been informed that he would be managing director of a new state mine in Broken Hill for five years, with an annual salary of A $ two hundred and fifty thousand. He started his job in November 2014 and was fired in April 2017, but he was paid A $ two hundred and eighteen thousand and unpaid A $1.15 million. In addition, Rossetti said Zousha should also pay his remaining two years` salary, as well as his pension.

Zousha`s lawyer has filed with the court alleging that the company paid A $ two hundred and eighteen thousand on receipt of Rossetti`s work note. They also rejected Rossetti`s claim for loss of income, saying Rossetti had never found a job until he worked for AusGold Mining Group.

The case will continue in May. During the fiscal year 2016-2017, Zou donated A $ three hundred and sixty thousand to the Liberal Party through her mining company, of which about A $ three hundred and ten thousand was donated to the Liberal Party in South Australia.

Earlier this year, Zou shared a photo on social media, a A $1.2 million check she donated to the Liberal Party for state elections. And according to reports last year, the, AusGold Mining Group contributed A $ one hundred and forty thousand to the Liberal Party in the previous federal elections.
