An Australian doctor is trapped in an island cave and spends two days on Rain Water and a limited snack.

On the morning of December 8, West Australia`s 33-year-old general practitioner, Kempadi (Katherine Comparti), was trapped exploring dark caves on the southern coast of (Christmas Island), Christmas Island, the Daily Mail reported. After losing his way, Kempadi tried to find an exit and finally decided to stay where he was waiting for rescue.

Kempadi`s parents couldn`t get in touch with him and called the police for help.

Australian Federal Police Officer Gough (Richard Gough) said Kempadi`s parents had been unable to reach her since the evening of the 7th, and the police began searching for her on the 9th after receiving the report.

Police contacted car rental companies, accommodation service providers and diving operators to try to find Kempadi. Police also posted a search notice on Facebook, a social networking site, in which a tourist said Kempadi`s car had been found on a path near the National Park.

Police found Kempadi`s car and Kempadi`s cell phone. However, it was late in the day and the search was postponed to the next day.

Fortunately, Kempadi`s family guessed her whereabouts based on her search engine Google records. In the early morning of the 10th, Kempadi was rescued with only minor injuries.
