Fill in an entry Card

When the plane is still on the ground, every incoming passenger receives a passenger entry card, (Incoming Passenger Card), provided by flight attendants. The entry card has Chinese version and English version, choose one of them!

If you carry any of the items mentioned in the entry card, you must tick and declare it in the "Yes (Yes)" column. You can also leave undeclared no-entry articles in the quarantine box at the airport. All declared items must be submitted to quarantine bureau officials for inspection. Prohibited items will be detained and destroyed. However, in most cases, the declared items will be returned after being checked.

Note that no matter whether you are in English or Chinese version, all content must be filled in English. The Australian Customs can't read Chinese anymore.

The signature on the entry card should be the same as the signature on your passport.

Only hotels in the city of entry are available in Australia. If you are staying at a family or friend's home, please fill in the address of your relatives and friends. If you live in a school dorm, host family or rent a good room, please fill in the address.

Entry four steps

Step 1: quarantine (Quarantine)

Tourists entering from China are usually allowed to pass directly without checking. In the case of Africa, visitors from the Americas to Australia must be quarantined.

Step 2: entry Control (Immigration)

It is mainly for immigration officials to check passports, visas and entry cards and ask simple questions, such as "the purpose of coming to Australia?" and "how long do you plan to stay?" Wait。 If you do not understand or understand English but can not express your meaning accurately, immigration inspection will usually arrange a free translation service. It is best not to answer questions enigma so as not to cause unexpected misunderstandings. Illegal immigration is rampant in recent years, and immigration checks in Australia are becoming more and more stringent.

Step 3: claim luggage (Baggage Claim)

When collecting checked-in luggage, check your luggage so as not to take it wrong. If your luggage is damaged or not arrived, please contact the baggage office of the airport directly.

Step 4: customs clearance (Custom)

Upon entering the Customs, the Customs and Excise Department will check the items carried by the Customs and Excise Department on the basis of the previously completed entry Card to ensure that there are no restrictions on entry into Hong Kong.

Available for entry into Australia but limited powder placed on carry-on baggage on board aircraft:

The carrying capacity must be in 350ml (volume), 350g (weight) or less containers. The total volume shall not exceed 350 ml, 350 grams per person.

Because the limit is based on the total container capacity, passengers are not allowed to place the powder in a jar that is more than reduced to 350ml.

There is no limit on the number of containers for inorganic powder per person, provided that the total volume of all inorganic powder containers is less than 350 ml. All powder in carry-on luggage must be presented separately for screening during customs inspection.

Drug tip

If you are not comfortable with the drugs you are carrying or are afraid to say clearly at the time of inspection, you can prepare the English version of the drug instructions in advance, so that when you reach the customs border inspection, you can bring out the English instructions. More directly inform customs about the use and description of drugs and reduce misunderstandings

Don't bring any medicine to anyone, because Australian Customs rules that you can only bring your own medicine.

"forbidden drugs" is 200% can not bring, found on the huge fines and even repatriate, do not have a fluke psychology!

If you don't know if your medicine needs to be declared, it's best not to bring it with you; or to find a replacement.

To find out which drugs need to be particularly permitted, you can refer to the list on the Office of Drug Control website

If you can't find anything on this list, you'd better declare it and hand it over to the customs.
