Seven Coronavirus cases were detected on a bulk carrier outside Port Hedland (Port Hedland) in Western Australia. The day before, several crew members were transferred to the state's isolation zone.

Western Australian Health Director Cook (Roger Cook) said seven of the nine remaining crew members on the Patricia Oldendorff had contracted the virus.

This means that almost half of the crew are infected.

from the philippines, the ship is currently 9 nautical miles from the pilbara (Pilbara) coast.

Cook warned that the state was at risk of a new outbreak if it was not controlled, and that more diseases were expected to be associated with the ship.

"There would be a disaster if the virus entered the community, perhaps worse than the virus outbreak in Melbourne ," he said. "

A trained private security company was hired to monitor the ship and was also required to be quarantined for 14 days.

The ship has now been sent a rapid emergency response team, including medical personnel handling the outbreak of cruise ship Artania and cargo ship Al Kuwait.

The ship is now unable to dock at Australia's busiest iron ore port.

vessel operator is now working with western australia authorities to prepare the replacement crew.
