Melbourne crash, pilot killed from China Eastern Airlines

According to ABC, there was a plane crash in the southeast of Melbourne! It is known that the aircraft is the Sesna 172 light aircraft, located near Melbourne`s Moorabbin airport. The plane, belonging to a Melbourne flight school, crashed into a wire during the descent, killing the pilot on the spot. It is reported that the pilot from China Eastern Airlines flight training in Australia.

Local residents said they heard a loud crash and thought there had been a traffic accident, only to see the neighbors panic and fire engines, first aid vehicles and police vehicles coming.

The cabin and engine of the crash plane were burning so badly that the whole plane was surrounded by a light of fire.

There was only one pilot on board.

Emergency personnel confirmed that the pilot had died on the spot, no other casualties have been reported.

The site of the plane crash is very close to Moorabbin Airport.

The details of the accident are still under investigation. But the local power has been cut off, nearby residents pay attention to detour.

Still fresh, last February, a plane crashed into a building near Melbourne`s Essendon airport in DFO, causing serious explosion. Five people were killed at the airport.
