Mysterious disease kills millions of Australian kangaroos

 30 Dec 2017

It is reported that a mysterious disease killed millions of kangaroos, experts hurt their brains.

In new state, wildlife researchers found that red kangaroo and gray kangaroo recently died of joint hemorrhage and internal bleeding.

Veterinarian Greg Curran said:

"you`ll see a kangaroo sitting there, but they`re all dead."

"it`s a disease, not a genetic problem. We didn`t find the bacteria, we didn`t find the virus. "

"it`s not a parasite, either. Given the size of the range and the difference in diet and environment, it is unlikely to be plant poisoning. All known diseases have been ruled out. "

Curren says:

"the mortality rate is so high that it cannot be simply attributed to the culprits. Nor can it be hunger or malnutrition. "

The number of kangaroos has declined significantly from 2016 to 2017, especially in Western Plains, where the number of kangaroos reached 17.4 million last year, more than double the number in 2010, said SteveMcLeod, a senior research scientist at the New State`s primary sector.

The number of new state gray kangaroos has dropped from 6.33 million to 3.85 million. The population of red kangaroos dropped from 5.13 million to 1.2 million.

Curran, a former veterinarian in the new state`s primary sector, has been studying a decline in numbers for years.

"so many elites have studied this for so many years, but they haven`t figured out what the problem is. It`s really worth studying. "

Sincerely hope to find out the cause of kangaroo death as soon as possible!
