New state Byron Bay surfer was bitten by a shark and suffered severe blood loss.

A surfer in northern New York was bitten by a shark on Sunday and rushed to hospital by a rescue helicopter.

New state emergency service personnel arrived at (Byron Bay) Manfred Street (Manfred Street), in Byron Bay around 06:40 on Sunday morning, according to Radio 9. A man was bitten by a shark while surfing on a beach near (Belongil Beach), Belongir Beach.

Police said the 41-year-old was from nearby Suffolk Park (Suffolk Park), when he was attacked and returned to shore to notify other surfers.

The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being taken to (Gold Coast University Hospital)., Gold Coast University Hospital.

It is reported that the man is seriously injured, a large number of blood loss, fortunately, the situation is stable.

The main beach of (Main Beach) and Belongir Beach will be closed for 24 hours.
