A senior adviser to Australian Prime Minister Morrison (Scott Morrison) was self-segregated after learning that he was associated with a new crown case.

Morrison's male consultant has been identified as a close contact with a confirmed case at the Potts Point Apollo Creek restaurant in eastern Sydney.

After receiving a Coronavirus test, the consultant was negative but still in self-segregation.

He posted on his Instagram account that he had been in close contact with a confirmed case of a restaurant in Potts on July 25. But soon after, he deleted the post.

Another two newly diagnosed persons were reported to have visited Apollo Greek restaurants on 22 July, and one confirmed case was restaurant staff.

All diners at Apollo Greek restaurants from July 23 to 25 are separated for 14 days from the date they arrive, the state health office suggests.

The Health Department has identified Cape Bates in Sydney's inner east side as a worrying area and urged residents and all those who have been there in the past two weeks to keep an eye on symptoms.

Morrison visited the sunny coast of queens yesterday morning (Sunshine Coast) before returning to canberra for an emergency meeting to discuss the rising infection in the live a retired life hospital.

The speaker of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) confirmed that Morrison's adviser was self-segregated.

"A staff member in the Prime Minister's Office is in the process of self-segregation following a new reminder from the New State Department of Health on Monday night. "he said.
