PTV said that according to surveillance, the male intruder was spotted at the beginning of the City Loop ring before train began to turn.
The incident resulted in significant delays in the City Loop13 train route.
The affected railway line is: Alamein, Belgrave, Craigieburn. Cranbourne, Flemington, Frankston, Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Lilydale, Mernda, Pakenham, Sunbury and Upfield. At present, it is gradually returning to normal.
It is reported that this matter caused City Loop except Flinders station emergency closure.
The police are waiting for a response to the incident.
