In addition to shivering cold currents, torrential rain, and severe cooling, it is the deadly flu virus that scares people.

So far, 25 people have died of flu in Queensland alone, the 9news reported. The fatality of the flu has to be prevented.

To make matters worse, Australian health experts believe that the real flu peak has not yet arrived!

In response, Australian Health authorities said: the number of flu deaths in 2019 may exceed the 43 death cases in 2018.

In addition, authorities once again urged people to vaccinate against influenza vaccine.

"these scary data are too early this year," Dr. Dilip Dhupelia, president of Queensland, the Australian Medical Association, told ABC Radio on Wednesday.

The elderly, especially those who have suffered from other diseases, are believed to have the highest risk of being "targeted" by the flu.

Don`t take it lightly when you see it here, the doctor warned: even healthy people have a very high risk of flu.

It is reported that Queensland flu peak season usually from July to October.

So far this year, 10409 people have been confirmed to be flu and nearly 850 have been hospitalized, 78 of whom have also been admitted to intensive care units.

By contrast, a total of 15685 cases, including 1715 hospitalization cases, were recorded for the whole of last year.

Health experts say one explanation for the large number of flu cases this year is the simultaneous prevalence of two different influenza A viruses that affect different age groups.

Professor Paul Van Buynder, an immunologist at Griffith University, told The Courier-Mail:

"one virus is more likely to affect children and young people, the other affects the elderly, and it affects all ages, so everyone is affected."

Here, Yi Yijun reminds you not to underestimate the flu virus, prevent influenza, vaccine vaccination should be early!
