A young girl in Brisbane was dragged into the bushes by a man at noon on Wednesday, risking sexual assault, according to Radio 9.

It is reported that at about 12:15 on Wednesday, a 16-year-old girl was attacked by a man as she was walking on a sidewalk near the junction of (Kittabilla Street) and (Craigslea Street) on Gita Billa Street in (Chermside West), Chem Sadesi.

The man came to her from behind, covered her mouth with his hand and dragged her into nearby bushes. The young girl kicked the man and managed to escape from danger.

The suspect escaped along Blanc Street (Buran Street) when he was last seen.

It is reported that the man is white, nearly 30 years old or early 30 years old, about 1.85 meters tall, well-proportioned, left with dregs. He wore a baseball cap, black frame sunglasses, white T-shirt and black baseball shorts.

Police are hoping to talk to people who noticed the suspect man in Chum Sadesi, with a car equipped with a CarLog and passing through the area at the time of the incident, and residents with surveillance outside their homes.

Police also urged people with clues to call the crime-fighting hotline of 1800 333,000.
