China's health commission said on Saturday it added 45 new Coronavirus cases on Friday, down sharply from 127 a day earlier.
A statement by the National Health Council said that of the new infections ,31 were in the western region of Xinjiang ,8 in the northeast Liaoning Province, and the remaining 6 were input.
In addition, China reported 23 new asymptomatic cases, compared with 11 a day ago.
