An engineer in Melbourne runs the drug Empire at his parents` home, with up to A $450000 in cash in his suitcase and photo with cocaine "bricks" in his mobile phone.
At about 6 p.m. on June 7, Yi Wei (Wei Yee, a 27-year-old resident of (Burwood East) in Burwood East, Melbourne, and his wife, Li Xiao (Siu Lee, were arrested outside their homes, the Pioneer Sun reported. And appeared in Melbourne District Court (Melbourne Magistrates`Court on the 8th.
According to police documents filed with court, police witnessed the drug deal between another man. Police raided Yi Wei`s house and found about A $450000 in cash, including several "safe-like" suitcases.
In addition, police found a batch of hidden drug, including 100g cocaine, marijuana and MDMA, with a black market value of A $150560.
Police accusation, an engineer, is "the founder of a high-level drug trafficking gane" and owns "a large number of offline drug dealer" and "selling high-purity cocaine to vulnerable take drugs in eastern Melbourne".
"I`ve been trading in drug for years and have never been caught and made a huge profit," Yi admitted to investigators. "for every bag of 28 grams of cocaine, I make A $2000."
After searching Yiwei`s phone, investigators found photo with pure cocaine bricks, as well as conversations between drug dealers and offline drug dealer on encryption social software Signal and Wickr.
Yi Wei and Li Xiao did not apply for bail, faced with drug trafficking, possession of drug and handling of proceeds of crime and so on accusation.
