Site of collapse of big trees (photo No. 9)
A woman in Melbourne who walked along a main road in Naibei District died by a big tree.
On Monday, at about 8.30 a.m., Melbourne`s emergency rescue workers reported to Prince Park, a 30-year-old woman who had been hit by a big tree, according to table 9.
The woman was rushed to Melbourne Royal Hospital (Royal Melbourne Hospital) and died. The police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Photo, filmed at the scene, showed a big elm next to (Royal Parade), Royal Avenue, uprooted and fell across the sidewalk.
Royal Avenue near Wark Street (Walker Street) southbound lane is now closed, police warned car drivers and cyclists to detour.
