A man from Brisbane, a man from Greater Brisbane and another from New State, shared the A $150 million prize, according to Australia`s record-breaking powerball award.
A man in Brisbane called The Lott, this morning to ask for A $50 million of the first prize, making him the first to receive the prize, Radio 9 and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
The winning man "stayed up all night" and repeatedly checked the winning situation until he confirmed that he had become a multimillionaire overnight, the report said. "I`m so excited!" he said. He can`t believe he won the lottery. He bought the lucky lottery at a newspaper store in Mater News Central, south of Brisbane, and plans to use the prize for family visits and overseas trips.
Another winner of the 50 million prize was a father from Sydney, Radio 9 reported. The third winner bought a lottery ticket in Kunzhou, but has not yet won the prize.
The Sydney winner decided to try his luck before the end of the lottery purchase and anonymously bought the lottery online.
"because everyone else is buying," said the Sydney winner, "I thought, `you have to be involved to win it,` so I bought a lottery ticket. I`m glad I did!. I thought I might need a day off to calm down and think about how I`m going to use these bonuses."
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, gambling game is currently looking for a third lucky man.
"that`s why we encourage all participants who buy last night`s lottery to check their lotteries because they may have become multimillionaire," said Spencer (Bronwyn Spencer) of The Lott.
The winning numbers are 26,4,17,5,18,8,31, and the number is 9.
In addition, there were 18 groups of lots drawn on Thursday night, with two winners winning nearly A $126000 each.
