Australian (Telstra) is urgently investigating a system failure that has prevented banks and retailers in Australia from handling EFTPOS terminal payments and ATM transactions.
According to Taiwan 9, a sudden system failure caused some of the payment methods to be affected, leaving bank and retail customers across the country trapped in front of ATM and cashiers.
