I`m sure my friends who are going to Melbourne have heard of Philip Island. If you have a planned trip to Philip Island, then don`t miss our article below. Here are some items that Philip Island can play in different seasons. I hope I can help you.

Philip Island is an island about 90 minutes` drive south-east of Melbourne. The little penguins here are famous for not being damaged by too much human beings, so you can see the most primitive plant animals here. This is the paradise of plants and animals.

To Philip Island, there must be no less is to go to the Penguin Conservation Center, after all, penguins here are signature. However, in addition to penguin conservation centers, there are many interesting animal activities.

What really makes this place famous is probably the penguin parade.

Penguins go home, Penguin Parade.

On Penguin Island, the penguin seen is the smallest penguin species in the world, the fairy penguin (Fairy Penguins).. They are about 30 centimeters tall and weigh about 1 kilogram. Every day before sunrise, they leave caves and go to the sea for food. In the evening, after the sun set, they returned from the sea to the caves on the shore.

The little penguins were very alert. When they were ready to go ashore, they shook their heads and looked around the beach for a while. After confirming their safety, they followed the leading penguins back to shore. As long as one penguin finds something wrong, it will rush back, and the other little penguins will blindly follow back, hide for a while, and re-observe and go ashore again. This program will sometimes be repeated many times until they return home safely.

Remind friends that if you see penguins want to take pictures, don`t turn on the flash, because it will do a lot of damage to penguins` eyesight.

Viewing address: 1019 Ventnor Rd, Summerlands VIC 3922

The tourist centre is open from 10:00 to 18:00

Pelican feeding show Pelican Feeding

The town of San Ramo (San Remo) is the entrance and exit to Philip Island. On wharf (Jetty), a beautiful town, there is a free pelican feeding show every day. Hundreds of pelicans arrive here on time every day to eat. Tourists who participate in feeding can watch pelicans at close range, and if there are children in the audience, they also have the opportunity to feed pelicans themselves.

Pelican feeding shows are spectacular, and every time the feeding show begins, besides the main pelican, many gulls pour in, trying to get free little fish.

Feeding address: Marine Parade, San Remo, VIC.

Feeding time: 12:00 every day

Panther rock Seal Rocks

A kilometer from the Penguin Conservation Center and (Nobbies) Beach in Cape Nobis, is the Panther Rock area, where there are a lot of seals, from October to December each year, during the breeding period of seals, when there are 6000 seals on the island.

To get to Panther Rock Seal Rocks, can only take the EcoBoat speedboat, the whole trip is about 1.5 hours.

From Cos (Cowes), you can get to Panther Rock Seal Rocks. in about 20 minutes. The small island is only about 1.5 square kilometers and is almost entirely occupied by seals. The whole rock was almost full of seals, most of which turned their bellies in the sun and did not carefully distinguish them, almost thinking that the motionless seals were just seaside rocks.

The speedboat will stay in Panther Rock for about 30 minutes, and the crew will introduce the ecology of the island.

Speedboats usually shift two times a day, at 3: 00 in the afternoon and 5: 00 in the afternoon. If you visit in winter and dark earlier, it is suggested to buy a 3: 00 shift and a 5: 00 shift in summer.

Whales can be seen on Penguin Island from June to August each year. You can also watch whales in speedboats.

In fact, there are whale watching ships in many waters in Australia. If you first arrive in Australia, it is recommended to land on whaling boats at least once. Look at those lovely whales. You can`t imagine how close you will be to them.

If you are lucky, you will even run into kangaroos and penguins, watching you from afar or playing with yourself.

In addition, (Antarctic Journey), a trip to Antarctica in the Norbis Center, is also worth a tour. The whole trip to the South Pole is divided into three layers, each with a different theme, leading tourists to the Antarctic world step by step.
