U.S. media reported that the Chinese film-sharing program Shaking International TikTok, plans to sue the U.S. president Trump, ban U.S. companies from trading with TikTok parent companies.

National Public Radio quoted sources as saying the TikTok would as soon as Tuesday enter the Southern California Federal Court, where the U.S. headquarters is located, challenging Trump executive orders. The source said TikTok considered Trump action unconstitutional because it did not give the company a chance to respond, and that the national security reasons invoked by the United States in the executive order were unfounded.

The White House declined to comment on possible lawsuits, but defended the Trump executive order, stressing government commitment to protect the American people from all cyber-related threat.
