According to the Australian Daily, a new survey shows that many international students believe that rights, which works in Australia after graduation, will not give them any substantial competitive advantage in the Australian labor market, but graduate work visa (Post Study Work Visa) can "buy them time" and become a legitimate way to live forever.

A study by Dr. Chen Lishi (Li Thi Tran, of Deacon University (Deakin Univer sity found that there are many job search barriers for people holding 485 temporary graduate visas, including proficiency in English and an understanding of the local workplace culture.

To make matters worse, employers have a lot of misunderstandings about the situation and intentions behind the 485 visa, and lack a clear understanding. In order to make it easier for employers to understand, many graduates can only end up describing 485 visa as their channel for obtaining permanent residence visas.

The investigation is still under way. At the time of the report, 800 people from 33 colleges and universities had been interviewed. The study found that although graduates generally believe that the right to stay in Australia after graduation does not provide them with a competitive advantage in the labour market, 52 percent of those who have held or currently hold 485 visas have worked full-time in Australia and 37 percent have professional positions.

Chen Lizhi`s report is entitled "Australian people`s understanding of the revised rights after graduation." It is part of a report on global employment trends for international graduates published by the Australian Association for International Education (International Education Association of Australia).

Berquist (Brett Berquist), director of the international department of (University of Auckland) at the University of Auckland, who is in charge of the main report, believes that employability has become a key driving force in the international education market in recent years against the backdrop of countries pushing forward various strategies to win the attractiveness of the market. In major English-speaking countries, rights is regarded as one of the most effective strategies for studying in major English-speaking countries.

``With global competition for talent, the education system that can work with communities, government, employers, will become a front position in competition, `` the report said.

To this end, Kunzhou government announced this month a pilot program in Keynes called the Global skills pass (Global Skills Passport), which aims to improve the employability of international students. The project is expected to be rolled out across the state in the coming months.

Although many graduates believe 485 visas are not particularly good for employment, Australia`s 485 visa holders exceeded 50,000 last year.

Dr Chen`s report also called for "universities, employers and interested parties to communicate more effectively and build a flexible and creative partner, relationship, to build an understanding of the visa."
