Every Easter holiday, drivers make a small mistake while driving, which could lead to a higher price than usual, according to Radio 7.

More than 100 people have been killed in a new state road accident since January 1, so police have called on drivers to be vigilant during the Easter holiday.

The state`s Easter and Australian New Zealand Legion Day (Anzac Day) will have eight days to double the number of points deducted from traffic violations, starting on Thursday, April 18, and ending on April 22. Then on Wednesday, April 24, the Australian-New Zealand Legion Day begins again until Sunday, April 28.

The new state government last year began imposing tougher penalties on drivers using mobile phones with five points deducted and a fine of A $337. This is the first Easter since the measure was introduced, which means drivers will be deducted for 10 points in violation of the rules.

In addition, drivers can be fined up to A $1400 and deducted 12 points if they are loaded with unsecured passengers, which is enough to cause the driver`s license to be revoked directly.

Motorcyclists also face severe penalties for carrying passengers who do not wear a helmet and face a fine of A $673 and a 12-point deduction.

Western Australia will also double points during Easter holidays from Thursday, April 18, to Monday, April 22. But the state does not implement the measure during Australian-New Zealand Army Day.

Australia`s capital territories are twice as long as Western Australia.

Kunzhou does not carry out double-point deduction during holidays, but for drivers who have been taught repeatedly, double-point deduction system is implemented throughout the year.

South Australia, Victoria, Northern Territory and Tata do not double points during the Easter holiday, but police say they will conduct inspections during the holiday.
