In addition to the new states, other states and territories have issued similar prohibitions and grounds for immunity, such as reasonable grounds defined by Queensland including court appearances, while the Capital Territory and Victoria adopt the strictest measures, with only four and five reasonable grounds, respectively.

Across Australia, parties of more than two people in public places are prohibited unless they are members of the same family or are essential to work or study, and most states and territories can impose high fines on violators.

At the time of publication, a total of 2,032 persons had been diagnosed in New South Wales.

Gladys Beregician (Gladys Berejiklian), New South Wales Prime Minister, stressed this morning that people should stay at home.

"Don`t leave home unless absolutely necessary ," she said. "

"Do not gather more than two people indoors or outdoors, except for family members, and ensure social alienation when going out. "

"As the number of cases obtained through community transmission is increasing, it is important for us to be a key time, to control and curb the spread of the virus. "

"And we want to see fewer people go to the hospital, and we want to see fewer people death ," Berejiklian said.

"No one wants to impose fines on people who just want to go out for walks, but, unfortunately, as happens around the world, cases will continue to increase, and the more we can slow down, the better for all of us, and we will save more lives. "
