According to Australia`s Daily Mail, a fire broke out Friday in Australia`s World Heritage Tasmanian Wilderness Park, swallowing the capital Hobart by thick smoke, and the blaze may have taken threat to other towns. At present, the fire has engulfed 8800 hectares of land. Heavy smoke also caused chaos at the local airport, forcing flights to Hobart to be diverted to Langston.

About 600 campers have been evacuated from the Wilderness National Park, the Australian Mercury newspaper reported. Local people are required to prepare for leave or defend their homes in accordance with the forest fire survival plan. At present, the road to the park has been blocked.

The fire department in Tasmania has upgraded the fire level due to the huge danger posed by the fire and advised nearby residents to be vigilant at all times.
