A pair of grandsons need hospital treatment Thursday morning after a shark attack at a popular tourist site in Kunzhou, the Daily Mail reported.
It is reported that at about 09:29 Thursday morning, a shark attack occurred in (Catseye Beach), (Hamilton Island) Cat`s Eye Beach, Hamilton Island, (Whitsundays), Kunzhou.
A girl under 10 suffered injuries to her feet and toes and a woman in her 60s suffered leg injuries. The two were sent to hospital for treatment after receiving medical assistance at the scene, and are now in stable condition.
The species of shark that attacked the grandchild is not yet clear, but there are reports that the shark is less than a metre long.
