Hong Kong`s demonstration comes amid some signs of detente with the outbreak of a new outbreak of pneumonia. The founder of Hong Kong Media Group, Mr Lai Chi-ying, former chairman of the Hong Kong Democratic Party, Mr Yang Sen, and Labour Party Vice President Lee Cheuk, were arrested by the Hong Kong police on Friday (28) and accused of participating in an unauthorized campaign on August 31 last year.

The three have been dropped, but have been granted bail and will appear in court on may 5 this year. The hong kong democrats see this as a selective political prosecution and the start of a new round of "big roundups ".

Lee and ms. yang said they were prepared to be arrested, but stressed that hong kongers had paradally`s rights without police approval. Mr Lai did not respond to any questions from the media.

Police in Hong Kong said the arrests were carried out after the investigation and were not politically considered.

"The Age of Big Accounts"

More than 7,000 people have been arrested in Hong Kong since June last year as a result of controversy under the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance, which triggered multiple months of anti-government demonstrations and police clashes.

On the eve of protest on august 31st last year, the private human rights front applied to the police for a palade rally rejected, and several democratic politicians and campaigners were arrested on the eve.

But "backstop" demonstrators continue to call on the internet in the name of religion, with tens of thousands of people taking part, eventually turning into a multi-district mass violence police community conflict, many of whom have previously been arrested and have been convicted of crimes such as routeuprising, illegal finally.

Mr. Lai`s other suspected criminal threats against Mr. Journalist took place in June 2017. According to footage from the Eastern Daily, during an interview with the "Sixfour" prayer meeting, Mr. Lai insulted Mr. Li and said," I`ll get someone to fuck you.

Under the laws of Hong Kong, offences of unlawful assembly and criminal intimidation are punishable by up to five years`imprisonment if they are convicted under the guarantee procedure.

Police in Hong Kong arrested Mr Lai Chi-ying, Mr Lee Cheuk and Mr Yang on Tuesday. Three people were taken to Kowloon City, Cheung Sha Wan and the Western Police Station respectively.

Mr Wong Tung-kwong, Senior Superintendent of Crime, Hong Kong Island Region, said the three men were all brought to justice in Eastern District Court on May 5. Mr huang was asked by journallist whether the action involved political considerations, responding that the police had been arrested after the investigation had been completed without political considerations.

Why are these three people arrested today? The police also did not explain.

China`s state-run xinhua news agency said in one of its videos on august 31st that three arrested people had appeared at demonstration.

Democrats outside the police station in solidarity with the arrested. Labour said it condemned the police`s indiscriminate arrests and suppressed hong kong`s demonstration rights. It also showed that hong kong government and police had no intention of repairing the tear with the public, stressing that the arrests would not scare away the demonstration.

Li zhuo leave police said that the day with a number of people with him to participate in the rally, i do not know what laws of prosecution, described as the "big accounting era ", the prosecution will come. He stressed that hong kong people had the right to rally and parade, without the permission of the police, to apply to the police, which itself violated human rights and the rights of the public. He said that the day would have been pre-empted, but stressed that he would continue to fight.

Democrats say hundreds of thousands of people participated in the day, and three were not the initiators of the event, questioning political prosecution and selective enforcement. Mr. yang said he was involved in the rally as peace, rational and non-violence, arguing that rally was the basic rights of hong kong people and would not regret his actions, questioning the police`s desire to create a chilling effect, and calling on other hong kongers to stand up to power and continue their efforts to free up democratic human rights.

The incident came at a time when the Financial Secretary had just announced the Budget, which, in addition to HK $10,000 for Hong Kong permanent residents aged 18 or above, had also substantially increased the Force`s budget.

Mr Wong, the leader of Hong Kong`s academic movement, said the arrests had taken place when the democrats objected to the budget." The timing was so coincidental that there were no more than 80 people still in prison," he said.

Police and establishment figures in hong kong have repeatedly stressed that anyone who breaks the law is subject to sanctions and strongly condemned the violence. Ye liu shu-yi, president of the formed new democratic party, believes that the police are doing things according to law and that court will deal with them fairly.
