According to Yonhap news agency reported, local time 10 pm, Seoul High Court of South Korea's former President Park Geun-hye pro-government case and the National House bribery case re-sentencing, Park Geun-hye was sentenced to 20 years. Earlier, prosecutors demanded a 35-year sentence.
Park ,69, is still absent from all trials since October 2017.

Geun-hye has been sentenced to 32 years in three cases and is currently serving his sentence in detain Seoul. According to the korean media news 1 reported that the july 10 verdict, park geun-hye can appeal to the supreme court, if abandoned, it means three cases closed.
He was sentenced to 25 years' imprisonment and 20 billion won (120 million yuan) in the second instance; to five years' imprisonment and 2.7 billion won (15.91 million yuan) in the second instance; and to two years' imprisonment in the parliament election in 2016.
In 2019, South Korea's Supreme Court rejected the second-instance decisions in the case of dry politics and bribery, and sent two cases back to the Seoul High Court for reconsideration. The Seoul High Court joined the two cases and handed down the sentence together on 10 July.

On July 10, it was also the day when Park Geun-hye's half-sister Park was out of jade. Park Zaiyu died on the evening of the 7th and was 84 years old. On the 8th, the prison side told Park Geun-hye the news. However, Park Geun-hye did not make a special response. She neither took leave nor applied for suspension of imprisonment. Yonhap said this meant she would not attend her sister's funeral.
