The gallery library is opening! What should I pay attention to?

New state art galleries, museums and libraries will be reopened to the public next month, and during the opening period, the new crown will be strictly followed to prevent the epidemic, including the return of books will be segregated 24 hours after processing.

As the new state gradually returns to normal, the new state`s governor, berejiklin (Gladys Berejiklian), announced that visitors will be able to return to their favorite cultural gathering place to visit from june 1.

`I` m looking forward to their reopening to the public ,`says Ms. Berridge, who owns some of Australia`s best galleries and museums. The library plays an important role in every community in the middle of the night, providing a safe place to study and read, and I believe many people will be happy to see the library reopen.

"I will encourage museums, galleries and libraries to innovate to ensure strict social distance and good health care. "said Berrijeklin.

According to the new state`s epidemic prevention measures, only one person is allowed every four square meters, so the number of people entering museums, libraries and art galleries will be limited.

At present, art galleries and museums are not allowed to tour groups, and the indoor social distance between people should be strictly observed 1.5 meters.

In addition, libraries are encouraged to designate special opening hours for high-risk groups such as persons over 70 years of age;

All pavilions will display distance signs to manage possible queues;

Museums and galleries will require online ticketing;

If there is a coffee shop in the museum, the coffee shop will strictly abide by the rule that only 10 people can eat together at the same time;

Please stay at home as far as possible for any staff or visitors who are unwell.

Extension:

Nearly 13% of museums may be permanently closed

On May 18, the International Day of Museums, two studies by UNESCO and the International Association of Museums confirmed that the global museum has received a severe impact from the new pneumonia epidemic. During the epidemic ,85000 museums closed, accounting for nearly 90% of the world`s museums. In addition, only 5 per cent of museums in Africa and small island developing States are able to provide online content to their audiences. Nearly 13% of museums around the world may be permanently closed.

A study by the International Association of Museums suggests that a decrease in the flow of visits will lead to a decline in museum revenues and a serious impact on the order of operation, influence and employment associated with museums.

The number of museums worldwide has increased by nearly 60 per cent since 2012, to about 95,000, according to the study by UNESCO. This growth illustrates the importance of the sector in national cultural policy over the past decade. But the study also found significant regional disparities, with museums in Africa and small island developing States accounting for only 1.5 per cent of the global total.
