Yesterday afternoon, a 14-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man were killed in a car that crashed into a tree in the midwest of New State, and three others were seriously injured and are being treated in a hospital. On Saturday, at 3:20 p.m., emergency workers rushed to the Castlereagh road in Merigorn (Merrygoen), New State, after receiving a call from the police. The accident left a driver and four passengers trapped in the car, including three teenagers, and managed by emergency services before escaping, police said in a statement.

The other 35-year-old man suffered a crash Friday in Ballimore area east of Dubbbo. The man died in hospital Saturday after a four-wheel-drive vehicle collided with a truck. In addition, a 6-year-old girl was seriously injured.
